Special Food Drive for Families and Pets

Many families in our area continue to struggle during the COVID-19 pandemic and need our help.

This Saturday, July 11th from 10:00 am to noon I will be holding a special food drive with Representative Chris Quinn. Food for families and pets may be dropped off during this time at the Concord Township building located at 43 Thornton Road in Glen Mills.

This food drive will benefit our neighbors and pets served by the Media Food Bank and Brandywine Valley SPCA.

The Media Food Bank is in need of nonperishable food such as canned tuna, peanut butter, jelly, canned soups, rice, pasta and noodles, cold cereals, and items such as toilet paper, feminine products, soaps, shampoo, and other personal care products. The Brandywine Valley SPCA requests contributions of dry dog food and wet, paté-style cat food. Grocery store and pet store gift cards are also welcomed.

Please email me directly at or call my office at 610-447-3163 if you have questions about this event. I hope to see you on Saturday!
