Killion Lauds Westtown Grant for Connector Road and Pedestrian Path

State Senator Tom Killion (R-9th) praised this week’s announcement by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for funding a project in Westtown Township.

PennDOT has awarded $750,000 through its Multimodal Transportation Fund for a connector road and path for pedestrians and bicyclists between two intersections on Route 202.  Senator Killion had urged PennDOT to fund this project, which will provide access between West Pleasant Grove Road and Stetson School Drive.

“PennDOT’s funding for this road and path is great news for the residents of Westtown Township,” said Killion.  “This new access route will make it safer for pedestrians in the Stetson School area, especially for children who will use this new path to get to school.  I am glad the state is providing assistance for this important project,” he added.
